THIOGLYCOLATE BROTH+RESAZURIN

Thioglycollate broth with resazurin (THIO-T) is intended
for the detection of anaerobic bacteria but is also used for
the detection of aerobic bacteria.
It is recommended for the non-selective enrichment of
non-fastidious bacteria in human specimens (4, 5).
This medium complies with the European, American, and
Japanese pharmacopoeias (1, 2, 3) for sterility testing.
