HEKT ENTERIC AG/XLD AGAR 10PLT

This product consists of two culture media, dispensed into one Petri dish containing separate compartments.

It is intended for use with clinical specimens (stools) and specimens of food and pharmaceutical origin.

Hektoen Enteric Agar:

Hektoen agar is a selective isolation and differentiation medium for the detection of Salmonella and Shigella in clinical specimens (stools). In specimens of food origin, it is used to detect Salmonella (1, 2).

XLD Agar:

XLD agar is a selective isolation and differentiation medium for the detection of Salmonella and Shigella in clinical specimens (stools). In specimens of food and pharmaceutical origin, it is used to detect Salmonella.
