CHROMID CANDIDA/HB AGAR

This product consists of two culture media, dispensed into one Petri dish containing separate compartments.

It is intended for use with clinical specimens.

chromID™ Candida Agar:

chromID™ Candida Agar is a medium for:

• the selective isolation of yeasts,
• the identification of the species albicans,
• the presumptive differentiation of a group of species comprising tropicalis, C. lusitaniae and C. kefyr (1,2,3,4,5).

Horse Blood Agar:

Horse Blood Agar is an isolation medium which facilitates the growth of fastidious microorganisms (10,13).
