The new year is often time for a change, and we are starting 2013 with a renewed focus and some changes to our team. We’re pleased to introduce the Edwards Team to you, with some new members on board this year.
Our teams’ sole focus is on delivering better results to our customers. We are here for you.

 

Ross Paulsen – Managing Director

What is your job at Edwards?

As the Managing Director of Edwards Group, my responsibility is to provide encouragement and motivation to the teams in order to help us achieve our vision and objectives. To build long-term relationships with our customers, suppliers and distributors is my core focus.

Your message for customers?

Throughout my life I have had a tendency to seek out people and organisations with a point of difference. Experience has taught me that whether you work in a lab, hospital or research institute you share a passion for a better life - for people and our planet. 
At Edwards we are determined to help you get better results.  Everything begins with you. Every customer is an individual in our eyes so any feedback you have is very much welcome.

 

Adrian Paulsen – Business Development Manager/HR

What is your job at Edwards?

As the BDM/HR Manager of Edwards Group, I am primarily responsible for looking after Human Resources and ongoing business development with our loyal customer base. This is relatively easy as most of our team here at Edwards have been here for a minimum of 5-10 years, so all are very much in touch with our overall vision - it’s all about like passion to go the extra mile for our customers. The best part is to continue building that long-term relationship that I have enjoyed over the past 20 years with many of our customers.

Your message for customers?

Since my Grandfather and Father started the company in 1961 it is a privilege to take forward their message ‘The customer is always right….. Listen!’

Barney Goodsell – Sales Manager

What is your job at Edwards?

With a name like mine it was inevitable that I was eventually going to end up with some kind of sales role… so to be the sales manager at Edwards suits me just fine! I also have specific geographical territories I look after, as well as certain product lines – which means I get to look after a somewhat diverse range of products.

Your message for customers?

We here at Edwards thrive on communication, so I would love our customers to understand that if there is anything they are not satisfied with, or would like improved, please tell us! We love all feedback and relish the opportunity to change anything in our company in order to give our customers a better experience.

 

Kaisa Antturi – Marketing Manager 

What is your job at Edwards?

I have worked in several continents and many different companies over the years. I have to say that working at Edwards is one of the best experiences so far. I work with a great team of people, who are motivated and passionate about customer service and delivering our brand promise with integrity and honesty. You often hear people say "business is just business". I think I can speak for all of us at Edwards, but I certainly don't think business is 'just' business for me. It's a very important part of my life.

Your message for customers?

I belive in our company, its products and services and that we deliver the best to our customers. You're not just a number to us, we are interested in hearing from you, and how we can improve and make your experience with us better.

 

Tessa Amarasekera – Sales & Marketing Assistant

What is your job at Edwards?

The best part of my job is receiving feedback, this allows both myself and the team to make changes to ensure your experience with us is  easy and memorable.

I also enjoy being able to keep the website up to date so that customers can find exactly what they need to get their job done and achieve better results.

Kim Morosin – Reception/Customer Service

What is your job at Edwards?

I love being the first port of call to Edwards (well, mostly) and ensuring you are directed to the right person – my colleagues are always saying that I am the happiest when going the extra mile for someone! As a mother of two teenage boys I’ve become skilled at multi-tasking from persistent demands, this is a big plus for my day/day tasks here at Edwards.

Your message for customers?

It’s been a pleasure speaking with you over the past 8 years, I assist with sales support and general customer service for our Microbiology and Life Science consumables, so more often than not I will be able to help you out when you call. Remember! If your trying to source a hard to find product call me and if we can’t supply we can send you in the right direction.

 

Sherri Pickford – Accounts & customer support

What is your job at Edwards?

I look after the accounts and purchasing and I like that we're a small team and everyone here is supportive of each other.

Your message for customers?

I like to make sure that all accounts are up to date and organised and that everything runs smoothly for our customers.

 

Brian Bushby – Warehouse Manager

What is your job at Edwards?

I understand you are eagerly waiting for your purchase order to arrive so that’s my job to ensure your order is picked, packed and dispatched with utmost care and urgency. There is never a dull moment in the warehouse with constant deliveries, pick-ups and orders coming through. I really enjoy the challenge and with over 10 year’s experience at Edwards it is very satisfying knowing my role has contributed to yet another happy customer.

Your message for customers?

Stress not, you are in good hands and I promise you procedures are in place so everybody is treated like a VIP because you are.
